Airservices statement on regional aviation fire services

Airservices Aviation Rescue Fire Fighting Services (ARFFS) operates at 26 of the busiest airports across Australia providing a vital layer of safety to the aviation industry and the travelling public.

Airservices has no plans to, and will not be closing any of its 26 airport fire services.

We acknowledge and support the Commonwealth Government’s commitment that existing ARFFS will continue to be provided at regional airports.
