Aircraft Noise Levels

The published aircraft noise level tables are based on actual measurement and are the arithmetic averages of the maximum levels emitted by aircraft currently operating from takeoff and landing operations.

The Federal Aviation Administration (US Department of Transport) has produced the following
Estimated Airplane Noise Levels in A-Weighted Decibels, 681kb.
